Activities
Here you can spend your days bathing, sunbathing or just enjoying the surroundings and the peace. If you would like to be more active you can e.g. go kayaking among the small and bigger islands, rent a boat for longer tours and try your luck by fishing for the great old pike in one of the best pike-waters in the world. The nature in the area is very beautiful with several smaller nature reserves and one of Blekinge's biggest wetlands with a flourishing bird life. One way to discover the wonderful nature of Blekinge is to trek on the paths Blekingeleden/Kongslijden and/or Hobyleden. Other ways are bicycling along the beautiful path Bräkneleden or riding on the comfortable, reliable back of the Icelandic horse in the woods and meadows. You will find something for everyone’s taste here! From the harbour of small boats in Järnavik you can take the small ferry to the idyllic island, Tjärö, where you can go fishing, sailing or walking.
